Real Ales

The Bull & Butcher offers a fine  and varied range of real ales. This currently includes four quality ales from the Fullers range, which  London Pride, Chiswick and Seafarers. Guest Ales are offerd periodically in addition , these incluse Spring Sprinter, Summer Ale, Red Fox and Jack Frost. The Bull & Butcher has recently been awarded the Cask Marque for the high quality of the Real Ale. The Cask Marque judges Taste, Temperaure, Aroma and Appearance

London Pride

 Top selling amber coloured ale, rich smooth and malty with a lasting hoppy finish (abv4.1)

Chiswick

Award winning refreshing golden beer with a biscuity malt and lots of hop character ( abv 3.5)

Seafarers

A light fruity golden Gales beer with gentle bitterness brewed by Fullers at the London brewery (3.6)

Wines

Rioja ( Marques Del Atrio, Crianza /Spanish )

A smooth, fruity and elegant wine with hints of fine oak. A well balancedvelvety structure lingering on the finish. Ideal with lamb, Beef and strong flavoured Cheeses. 

Cabernet Sauvignon  (Richland/Austrailian)

Ripe Blackberry Fruit and spicy oak create a wine suitable to enjoy with wood fired Pizza or Roast Beef.

Cabernet Merlot ( Pokerface/ Austrailian )

A blend of two excellent grape varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon provides the palate weight and the fresh berry flavours. The Merlot whilst adding complexitysoftens the palat superbly.

Shiraz ( Riebeek Cellars / South Africa )

Full-bodied with a subdued smokiness on the nose and a palat combining ripe fruit and interesting spice. The lingering aftertaste is unbeatable with your favourite steak and can also stand up to intensely flavuored dishes.

Saunignon Blanc ( Riebeek Cellars / South Africa )

Well defined fruit with complimenting green flavours ensures a crisp and refreshing white wine for every day enjoyment. Ideal with a favourite light meat or as a glass on its own.

Pinot Grigio ( Villa Cerro/ Italian )

A wine with a delicate character with a crisp freshness on the palat, mmaking it ideal as an aperatif, with starters, soups, pasta and fish

Chardonnay ( Five Mile Point / Australian )

A lovely combination of Chardonnay and Semillon that develops a wine which is abonuding in stone fruit flavours and is delicious  on its own or with a lightly flavoured meat, Fish or salad dish

Rose (Pinot Grigio/ Italian)

This dry Rose has an unmistakable colour, has a delicate character with a crisp freshness on the palat. It’s ideal as an aperatif, as a starter, with soups, pasta and fish
